Being where there are many fair skinned people in the population, the focus is on getting a tan so their fair skin can become a shade or two darker! You know what, it’s the same way in the entire Indian subcontinent. And it’s sad. i wish people would realize how beautiful and diverse the creation of mankind is, instead of putting people with darker skin to shame because their skin is VERY beautiful as well.

I have a friend who’s always going on about how dark her skin is and it’s not fair and blah blah blah… hehe, I’m going to use this article on her.
